Windows 11 KB5052094

If you’re still on Windows 11 23H2, starting today, you’ll have a new Lock Screen experience thanks to the KB5052094, which is now available to download and install.

KB5052094 is a non-security patch, and it’s entirely optional. However, if you want to experience the Lock Screen (which will be added to Windows 11 with March 2024 Patch Tuesday updates, anyway), you should install it right away.

The new Lock Screen experience will let Windows users learn more about the image on the lock screen. I don’t know about you, but I find it specifically useful, thanks to the breathtaking landscapes Microsoft displays on the Lock Screen.

Elsewhere, KB5052094 brings almost the same improvements and fixes KB5052093 brought for Windows 11 24H2.

You can read the patch’s full release notes here.
