Microsoft Viva is getting a new capability called Republish that aims to simplify content management on the platform.
Announced in a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Republish is a new feature that helps keep your content updated and more engaging. It works with SharePoint, Viva Engage, Outlook, and Teams and uses these platforms to disseminate content.
You can easily update your published content, re-share important messages to new groups, and fix mistakes or improve your messages. The best part is you can do all this without starting over from scratch.
The Redmond-based tech giant says Republish in Viva Amplify makes managing content much easier.
We’re excited to launch Republish, a new feature that keeps your content fresh, extends its reach, and maximizes engagement across SharePoint, Viva Engage, Outlook, and Teams. Update existing published content in a few clicks, re-share key messages to new audiences or channels, correct errors and refine your messaging —all without starting from scratch. Republish in Viva Amplify makes content management effortless.
However, Viva users will need to wait a bit for this capability to be added to the platform. The Redmond-based tech giant wants to release at the end of this year, in December 2025, but it might just as well be a supposed date. The Roadmap might change until then.
In recent news, Microsoft replaced Viva’s Feed experience with the new Enterprise News Reader, as a way for users to get all the information they need in one place. The replacement happened in December.
