  • Hey, I like this article because it has many solutions for windows 10 but my question is about this error occurring at random times.

How do I know this error is fixed if it normally happens for me at random times?

Does my computer have corrupt files or is my ip settings causing it. I have done a soft reset by disconnecting my modem/router and draining power a couple times. I have re installed the anti virus that comes with my internet service a couple times when I wanted to install new windows software.

Edit: I can update this comment when I try more of these solutions and something worked.

  • How I fixed my proxy problem was to reset my PC…What that does is reinstals a fresh clean copy of my Windows-10 operating system and Windows is now able to automatically detect my proxy settings….

    PROBLEM SOLVED,,,, LOL

  • Okay, so I tried all the suggestions and nothing worked. My issue was on a brand new install of Windows 10 Pro, so it was not a malware, virus or spyware issue. Here is what worked.

First find out what your ip address is –> in a command prompt window type ipconfig. This will show your ip address, subnet mask and default gateway. Write these down.

    Next…

    1. Go to network and sharing center from the control panel
    2. On the left side, go to change adapter settings
    3. Right click on the adapter you are using(mine was ethernet not wireless)
    4. For the adapter, go to properties
    5. Now double click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
    6. Select “use the following ip address” and put in the ip, subnet mask and default gateway that you acquired earlier.

Even though you were already using this ip that was assigned to you automatically, for some reason setting it as a static ip fixed the problem for me.

    Hope this helps! 🙂

  • When I use command prompt n i type that it says “operation requires elevation (run as administer) failed” for each one!? Why if any of u know anything fb me or hit me up calvinp(dot)schuster@gmail (dotcom)

  • Wow. I’ve been dealing with this issue for a few days now and combed the web for a solution to no avail until I found your site. Solution #1 worked for me. Thank you so much!
