What is Windows 10 April Update?
Windows 10 April 2018 Update or Windows 10 version 1803 code-named “Redstone 4”, is the fifth major update to Windows 10 and the fourth in a series of updates planned under the Redstone code-names. It carries the build number 10.0.17134.
The first preview was released to Insiders on August 31, 2017. The final release was made available to Windows Insiders on April 16, 2018, followed by a public release on April 30, and began to roll out on May 8.

How to get the Windows 10 April 2018 Update?
If your Windows Update service is enabled, Windows 10 will prompt a notice when the April 2018 Update is available for your device. You can also check for updates manually as follows:
- Press Windows key + I and choose Update&Security
- Check for updates or follow the instructions on-screen.
When the update is ready, you can select a time to install it.
Another way to check is to see if you already run version 1803 on your system. To check what version of Windows 10 your device is currently running, press Windows Key + I and select System, then scroll down to About.
