This new icon will be rolling out across Microsoft’s Azure product experiences and websites in the coming weeks, according to Microsoft. Microsoft also says the icon has been carefully crafted so that it’s familiar to what Azure customers already know and love.
We’re a fan of the new icon, as it is pretty sleek and modern. It is a lot like what we’ve already seen across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the rest of Microsoft 365. Microsoft is obviously going for some consistency now across its entire product lineup, and it’s great to see Azure getting a new look, too.

OE Classic doesn’t have Calendar or Event Scheduler, and instead of adding somewhat unnecessary features creators of OE Classic focused on developing an email client that resembles Outlook Express as much as possible. This means that there are no tabs, or any unnecessary features that you probably won’t ever use in an email client.

In terms of developer support, Thunderbird is being developed by community and not by Mozilla, therefore updates might not be as frequent as they used to be. As for OE Classic, the developers of OE Classic are constantly working on it, and in fact, they are closely listening to user feedback and suggestions regarding new features. According to a new report from Petri’s Brad Sams, Microsoft is no longer actively working on Windows 10X to focus on the regular Windows 10 OS, which is expected to receive a big design update codenamed “Sun Valley” later this year.
Microsoft officially unveiled Windows 10X in a Fall 2019 event where the company revealed its dual-screen Surface Neo and Surface Duo devices. If the Surface Duo shipped last year with Android, the Surface Neo has been delayed indefinitely after Microsoft announced last year that Windows 10X would ship first on single-screen devices.
Since then, the way forward for Windows 10X was to become Microsoft’s Chrome OS alternative for low-cost PCs. Chromebooks have become quite popular in the US education market in recent years, as they’re often cheaper and easier to manage than Windows 10 PCs. With Windows 10X, Microsoft aimed to create a lightweight OS that would drop legacy Windows components including Win32 apps, but educating customers about this new version of Windows 10 could have taken a while.
“When talking with people familiar with Microsoft’s plans, customers were not looking for a solution that Windows 10X would solve, what they want are Windows 10X features brought to Windows 10. The benefit of Windows 10 is the flexibility that it provides, 10X worked against that narrative and the decision was made to put the OS on the backburner,” Sams explained today.
A separate report from Windows Central’s Zac Bowden has seemingly confirms Brad Sams’ information about Microsoft no longer actively working on Windows 10X. “Microsoft halted Windows 10X internal selfhost testing in February, and hasn’t restarted it since. Microsoft used to offer 10X selfhost builds for a number of Surface devices, but all of those selfhost images have been removed from the internal portal, and movement on 10X as a whole has grinded to a halt,” Bowden wrote.
Both reporters believe that some of the work Microsoft did on Windows 10X may eventually end up in the regular Windows 10 OS, including the new design ideas that we’ve seen in the Windows 10X emulator. Anyway, the Windows team is apparently fully focused on the big “Sun Valley” update for Windows 10, and that’s probably good news.
It took Google many years to have some success with Chromebooks, which have become much more versatile in recent years thanks to Android, Linux, and even virtualized Windows apps. As Windows 10 is now running on 1.3 billion devices, it’s hard to see how Microsoft could have avoided another Windows RT situation with a new Windows 10-based OS that can run fewer apps than a regular Windows 10 PC, or a Chromebook.
Microsoft probably can’t escape the fact that Windows 10’s huge app ecosystem remains its biggest strength, and that consumers and business users generally hate change. It will likely take years for Microsoft to modernize Windows 10 and makes its UI and UX more coherent, but this probably should be the Windows team’s main priority in addition to improving app compatibility on ARM devices.

Microsoft has just released the Windows 10 Insider build 21376 for Insiders in the Dev channel. This is a minor update that brings a new updated Segoe UI Variable font and other small updates, but no real new features.
“Segoe UI Variable is a refreshed take on the classic Segoe, now with improved legibility at small sizes, and much improved outlines at display sizes,” the Windows Insider team said about the new font. How to fix Working on updates message on Windows 10?

Working on updates don’t turn off your computer stuck – This is just a variation of the original message, and if you encounter it, you should know that all our solutions can be used to fix it.
1. Disconnect USB peripherals
According to users, sometimes USB devices can cause this issue to appear.
If you have any storage devices, such as an external hard drive or USB flash drive connected, be sure to disconnect them and check if that solves the problem.
Other devices such as a printer, or even your USB mouse and keyboard can cause this problem to appear.
Users confirm that disconnecting USB peripherals successfully fixes update issues. Try removing your USB peripherals and wait for a few minutes for the update process to complete.
2. Repair corrupted system files
According to users, sometimes corrupted system files can interfere with your system and cause your PC to get stuck during the update process.
However, you might be able to fix this problem by running SFC or DISM scans. To do that, enter Safe Mode and follow these steps:
Press Windows Key + X to open Win + X menu. Now choose Command Prompt (Admin) or PowerShell (Admin).
Enter sfc /scannow and press Enter to run it.
The SFC scan will now start. This process can take up to 15 minutes or more, so don’t interrupt it.
If SFC didn’t fix the problem, you might want to try using a DISM scan instead. To do that, start Command Prompt and run DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command. DISM scan will now start. Keep in mind that this scan can take more than 20 minutes, so don’t interfere with it.
Once the DISM scan is finished, check if the problem is resolved.
If the issue is still present, or if you were unable to run the SFC scan before, try running the SFC scan again. Once the SFC scan is finished, check if the problem still persists.
This solution might be a bit complicated, but a few users reported that it worked for them, so you might want to try it out.

After creating an installation media, follow these steps:
Restart your PC several times during the boot. Now you’ll see a list of options. Select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.
Now you’ll be asked to choose between two options. Both options will remove all your installed applications, but the former will preserve your personal files. In some cases, it’s better to use Remove everything option to remove all files.
If you’re asked to insert Windows 10 installation media, be sure to do so.
Select the installed version of Windows and choose Only the drive where Windows is installed > Just remove my files.
Now you’ll see a list of changes that the reset will do. Once you’re ready, click the Reset button.
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the reset.
After everything is done, you’ll have a fresh installation of Windows 10 and everything should work without problems.

Microsoft has recently announced that it’s testing new controls that will allow its Edge browser to remember the last pin state for flyout menus. This feature is currently hidden under an experimental flag in the Edge Canary and Dev channels and must be enabled in order to show up in the pane settings.
Microsoft Edge introduced a new toolbar experience last year, which lets users access their history, favorites,downloads, and Collections instantly while browsing the web. However, it’s an optional feature, and users need to pin these flyout menus manually. Currently, the browser unpins the menus automatically when the pane is closed, and it’s a bit frustrating experience for users.
Fortunately, the company has finally decided to incorporate their feedback and added an experimental flag to address this issue. “We’ve heard feedback from some of you that you’d prefer to have the new Favorites, History, Downloads, and/or Collections panes remain pinned until you decide you’re done, rather than unpinning automatically when the pane is closed. There’s a few possible ways we could address this depending on your use case, and we’d love your input on which option works best for you,” the Edge Insider Team explained.
Microsoft Edge Insiders that want to try out the feature can head to the edge://flags and enable the “Persist pin state for menus” flag (which comes with three different options). The first one replaces the close button in the flyout with an unpin button and the second option adds an unpin button next to the close button. However, the last one introduces an option in the More menu to always open that menu in the pinned state until the user chooses to unpin it manually.
The ability to persist pin state feature should make it easier for users to manage the flyout menus and Microsoft says that it will be listening to feedback to improve the experience. The Edge Insider team noted that this new capability is only available for Collection and Favourites, though the company is planning to expand it to other menus as well.
